Zenshia was a religious belief system, a denomination of Buddislam. It was prominent with many cultures spread across the Known Universe during the Butlerian Jihad. It's followers were known as the Zenshiites.
Zenshia shared a common origin with the Zensunni faith, and the two also shared many core theological beliefs. Additionally, practitioners of both religions held a common neutrality over the war between the thinking machines and free humans. Both groups were subsequently persecuted and enslaved.
However, differences between the two were strong enough to yield cultural misunderstandings and misgivings. Around the time of the Butlerian Jihad, the Zenshiite solver slaves on Poritrin exhibited violent tendencies, whereas the Zensunni slaves were more wary of violent protests. Nonetheless, both denominations of Buddislam got along rather well, with Zenshiite Bel Moulay notably referring to the Zensunni Solver slaves as "brothers."
