Marriage[edit | edit source]
The 80th Padishah Emperor, Elrood Corrino IX, was originally married to a woman 2 years older than himself, Barbara Mutelli, whom he wed in 10019 AG, a year after his coronation as Emperor (the same time he gave birth to Wensicia Mutelli. This marriage lasted 7 years, until Barbara's death in 10026 AG, leaving behind an 8-year-old Wensicia, who, since she had been borne out of wedlock was not a royal princess or heir. Yvette was 2 at the time.
Elrood remained unmarried for the following decade, until Yvette was 12. At this point it was decided he would wed again.
Yvette Hagal-Corrino was the only person (including Elrood's three other wives) to be accorded the privilege of sitting on a throne of her own beside her husband's Golden Lion Throne, which was at the center of the top platform in the Imperial audience chamber called the Selamik.
Children[edit | edit source]
Their youngest daughter Edwina married Count Ilban Richese in 10090 AG (changing her name to Edwina Richese). She in turn begot Helena Richese who begot Leto Atreides, the father of Paul. This makes Yvette the great-grandmother of Paul Atreides.
Death[edit | edit source]
The Padishah Empress died in 10075 AG, when Edwina was 5 years old. As the birth dates of Crystane and Tara were unknown (being listed leftmost on the Corrino birth chart they are likely older sisters) their age at the time of their mother's death is unknown.
Her untimely death was succeeded by the Great Houses of the Landsraad.
