When Feyd I executed Aleksandr in 1029 AG, Vladimir was placed in a foster home, raised without the knowledge of his father's background.
New emperor Josif I issued an edict restoring all lost titles, lands, and properties to their original owners before the accession of Feyd I and Vladimir became Duke of Chamizai.
