"Paul Atreides is among us! I can't wait to see Baron Harkonnen's face when he sees your head!"
"Let's finish it, demon!"
"Oh, you've worked it out! So you're worried about that fate of Kalhou. I assure you that he is in good hands. They will try to keep him alive as long as possible."
"In a few moments, you will pay for him, Face Dancer!"
"Do you have a preference for the appearance of the man who is going to kill you? Hahahahahaha!
"
―The Face Dancer and Paul Atreides[src]

A Face Dancer impersonated Kalhou to infiltrate Sietch Tabr and kill Paul Atreides.

Biography[]

The Face Dancer was sent to Arrakis after Kalhou and Chani Kynes were captured by Dissid's smugglers, who intended to sell them to House Harkonnen. Paul Atreides raided the smugglers' camp and rescued Chani. The Face Dancer met them disguised as Kalhou when they reached the point where Stilgar extracted them in an Ornithopter. The Face Dancer claimed to have escaped from the Harkonnens and offered to explain the reasons for the capture upon reaching Sietch Tabr. Paul replied that he did not need an explanation, for he knew Kalhou to be a fine fighter and that the same could happen to any of them if taken by surprise. As Paul and Chani slept, the Face Dancer operated a hunter-seeker in an attempt to kill Paul, who outmanouvered and destroyed it. Upon being confronted, the Face Dancer assured Paul that Kalhou would be kept alive for as long as possible before declaring their intention to kill Paul and deliver his head to Baron Vladimir Harkonnen. Taking the appearance of Paul himself, the Face Dancer fought him and was ultimately killed, winning Paul a greater level of respect among the Fremen.[1]
