Turok was a Fremen courier, member of Stilgar's group and friend of Duncan Idaho.[1]

Turok warned House Atreides about a band of House Harkonnen mercenaries who had disguised themselves as Fremen. The Atreides fought against the Harkonnens and emerged victorious. During the attack, they discovered that Turok had been badly wounded by the Harkonnens [2] Swordmaster Duncan Idaho rushed Turok to a medic. While transporting him, Turok attempted to throw away his Crysknife,[3] knowing that the Harkonnens had a bounty of one million Solaris for anyone able to capture one.[4] Turok died on the way to the medic. As a gesture of gratitude from Naib Stilgar, Turok's body, and thus his water, were given to the Atreides[5] and his Crysknife was given to Idaho.[6]
