Thra was the mother of Piter de Vries, a sickly woman and member of the Olman clan of Gwandali. She lived to a considerable age and adored Piter, her only child, denying him very little. Piter's father's name contained the letters 'ibb' in it. Presumably after the death of Thra, Piter was sold to the Tleilaxu.
