The Third Protectorate[1] (5321–5670 AG) was a government set up by the Landsraad after the deposition and execution of Emperor Destrym in 5321, devised to keep various imperial claimants off the throne.[2]
Eight individuals, holding the title of Protector, governed the Imperium during this time: Kelal Djordjevich (5321–5420), Theron I Papshvili (5420–5474), Ashot Gregorian (5474–5511), Koniets Karamtsev (5511–5582), Harisy Ableman (5582–5615), Koroi Muratomi (5615–5618), Lamia Westring (5618–5660), and Teimuraz Bagration (5660–5670). The Protectorate came to an end in 5670, when Teimuraz was proclaimed Emperor Teimuraz I.[1]
