Notes and Trivia[]
- This character is never named onscreen in Dune and is referred to as "The Baron's Doctor" in the end credits. He was intended to be revealed as Scytale in a planned sequel, which was cancelled following the film's critical and financial failure.[1]
- The sequel would've retroactively explained the Doctors whereabouts during the Baron's line 'Where's my doctor'. Scytale would have taken the body of Duncan Idaho to Tleilax and resurrected him as the Ghola Hayt.
