Since XD doesn't introduce any groundbreaking contradicting information on the mentats, how they work, or their history, there is no need for an /XD version of this topic. Even the retcon of Gilbertus Albans doesn't significantly alter the established info.

I Must Protest
Good day!
I must tell you that Mentats as expanded by Brian Herbert and others, are far more developed in scope and character -- primarily in the topic area of the Tleilaxu concept of a Twisted Mentat.
As you know with our Portals, there only has to be ONE change from the Original Frank Herbert series to need an XD/ page (Net, the; being an example). There are numerous examples of Mentats being far beyond Frank Herbert ever dreamed, as outlined in Paul of Dune, especially.
I would like to request, Mr Roebus, as two individuals who have talked extensively over the last 2 years, and e-mailed, etc; that we do speak before making changes before deleting pages. It creates work for me. As we learned with the Enemy and Enemy/XD pages, I will most likely have to post the page eventually.
