Synchronized Worlds emblem

The Synchronized Worlds, also known collectively as the Synchronized Empire or the Omnius Empire, were a vast collection of planets under the total control of thinking machines in the era following the Time of Titans, centralized under the evermind of the Omnius..

The Synchronized Worlds formed the main opposition to humanity in the century-long Butlerian Jihad. Immediately preceding its end in the Great Purge, there were just 543 synchronized worlds, and during the Purge, these were nuked with atomics by the Army of the Jihad’s massive fleet until it converged on Corrin. The fleet was unable to proceed further and destroy Omnius Prime, resulting in a twenty-year siege concluding at the Battle of Corrin.
