Stilgar ben Fifrawi was the Naib —the leader— of Sietch Tabr, one of the most prominent Fremen communities on Arrakis. A wise and honorable leader, he had a soft spot for Chani Kynes, whom he regarded as his niece.[1] A formidable warrior, but an even wiser ruler, he was deeply respected by all of the Fremen.[2]
