Stellan Skarsgård is a Swedish actor who portrays Baron Vladimir Harkonnen in Dune and Dune: Part Two.

Skarsgår is known for portraying Erik Selvig in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Avengers and Thor films (2011-2015), Boris Shcherbina in HBO's miniseries Chernobyl (2019), and Bill in the film Mamma Mia! (2008).
Work on Dune[]
Skarsgård "spent seven hours a day in make-up for Dune." He worked on the first film for two and a half weeks and didn’t get to work with much of the cast, filming most of his scenes alone with only brief exchanges with other characters.[1]
