A Spacefolder is a space craft capable of travelling at faster than light speeds, thanks to the Holtzman Effect. In the eras of the Corrino and Atreides Empires, spacefolder vessels were typically controlled by the Spacing Guild, and referred to as Guild Heighliners. However, by the time of the discovery of the Dar-es-Balat hoard, Ixian navigation machines had broken the guild monopoly on space travel.
