War of Assassins[]
Following Truthsayer Jessica Atreides discovery of the Harkonnen traitor Wellington Yueh, a War of Assassins broke out amongst the House Atreides and House Harkonnen. To ensure that Spice Melange production would not be affected by their war, Shaddam deployed legions of Sardaukar to Arrakis.[1]
