Expanded Dune

Schools of Dune is an upcoming trilogy of books in the Expanded Dune series by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson. The books will centre around the founding of the Great Schools in the aftermath of the Butlerian Jihad.

The Sisterhood of Dune

The Sisterhood of Dune, the first book in the series, was announced in July 2010 and is expected to concentrate on the formation of the Bene Gesserit.

Future Books

The concept of the trilogy has been hinted at repeatedly by the authors - possible titles future books are rumoured to be Mentats of Dune, Swordmasters of Dune or a book about the Spacing Guild. However, none of these have been officially confirmed. The authors' current contract will run out after the second book, so the third will have to be included as part of a new future contract.
