The Schools of Dune series is a trilogy of books set within the Expanded Dune franchise. Each novel was co-written by Brian Herbert, the son of original Dune author Frank Herbert, and Kevin J. Anderson. The trilogy serves as a sequel series to the previous Legends of Dune novels, which had explored the Butlerian Jihad. These books center around the founding of the Imperium's Great Schools in the aftermath of the Butlerian Jihad and the rise of the Corrino Imperium.

Novels

• Sisterhood of Dune, the first book in the series, was published in 2012. It concentrates on the formation of the Bene Gesserit.
• Mentats of Dune, the second book in the series, was published in 2014.
• Navigators of Dune, the third and final book in the series, was published in 2016. It focuses on the formation of the Guild Navigators.
