The Rescue of the Treasures was a period of human history when travelers visited Earth, which was struck by a planetoid in 13402 BG, and humanity was transported to Ceres (which thereafter became the new political capitol of the human race for centuries to come).
Those travelers rescued significant historical relics which were spread across the Known Universe, and the planet was reseeded with human population and set aside as a natural park.
