Ramallo was an elderly Sayyadina, a rogue Bene Gesserit Reverend Mother who successfully changed the Water of Life. She therefore possessed a vast knowledge inherited from her foremothers and her immense wisdom made her a reverend mother figure among the Fremen.[1] She inspired a strong religious fervour into the Fremen and held a deep knowledge of all their rites.[2]
