Introduction of Ramallo[]
Ramallo is introduced at Sietch Tabr when Stilgar speaks to Lady Jessica about their dying Reverend Mother. He requests that Jessica take her place. Jessica asks what will happen if she refuses and Stilgar tells her that the Fremen would have no need for her and would have to kill her. Jessica agrees to undergo the ritual that involves drinking the Water of Life, a deadly substance lethal to men but essential for Bene Gesserit transformation.
The Ritual[]
Ramallo presides over the ritual where Jessica drinks the Water of Life. As Jessica begins convulsing from the poison, Ramallo and the other Bene Gesserit observe in growing fear, particularly when they realize Jessica is pregnant.
