The Princess Royal is the eldest daughter of the Padishah Emperor and the Padishah Empress of the Known Universe and the firstborn Imperial Crown Princess— a title granted for life and used only after it has been specifically conferred by the Imperial Sovereign that once ruled over the Old Galactic Padishah Empire.
It has passed down from the longest reigning Corrino Empire to the short-lived Atreides Empire.
Behind the scenes[]
The title is derived from the real-life British/UK title of Princess Royal, which is awarded by the monarch to his/her daughter. At present, this title is held by Princess Anne, sole daughter of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
