The use of Poisons was common in the Known Universe, they were used by Assassins and Mercenaries in the service of the Houses Major and their exact use was detailed in the Assassin's Handbook They could be used in food (chaumas), drink (chaumurky) or on Projectile weapons and Blades (especially Slip-Tips and Kindjals) or in Gas form. Most known Poisons could be detected by Poison snoopers. Other poisons were not used as weapons but as potent Drugs and Stimulants. They were generally used in kanly, to ensure only the person(s) involved in the feud were targeted.
