Patrice Vermette, a Canadian production designer and art director, has worked in film and television since 1996. A frequent collaborator with director Denis Villeneuve, Vermette served as the production designer and art director in a number of Villeneuve's films, including the 2021 film adaptation of Dune.
For Dune, Vermette worked closely with director Villeneuve, production designers Richard Roberts and Zsuzsanna Sipis, and a number of concept artists, including Deak Ferrand, Joseph Cross and Keith Christensen.

- For his work on Villeneuve's 2016 science fiction adaptation Arrival, Vermette was nominated for an Academy Award in the category "Best Production Design" at the 89th Academy Awards.
- For his work on Villeneuve's 2021 science fiction adaptation Dune, Vermette received the Washington D.C. Area Film Critics Association Award for Best Production Design, along with Richard Roberts and Zsuzsanna Sipos.
