Pardot Kynes' work in the field of planetary ecology made him a legend on Kaitain. During his time on Arrakis, he fathered a child, Liet, with a Fremen. Derek Chinara idolised Pardot and later accepted an invitation from Liet for assistant in an ecology project.[1]
