Nuwa Cenva was the brilliant automaton engineer of House Vernius during the Spice War. Many of Vernius' breakthroughs at the time were attributed to Nuwa's skills. During the latter stages of the war, she was brought to Arrakis assist the war effort and ensure that all went according to plan. She developed a Repair station which could repair Vernius Drones at long ranges and make their weaponry more powerful.
