- "I'm Nasher Hix. Quartermaster of the Mithra. Whatever's left of it, anyway. You can call me Hix."
- ―Nasher Hix to the Prisoner[src]
Chief Nasher Hix was a crew member of the Mithra.
Biography[]
Background[]
Nasher Hix was born into a family that had served the Spice Miner's Guild since the late 9000s, with his mother's side handling supply management and his father's side handling rig technical. Most of his family were killed when House Harkonnen attacked the Windsack Depot. His brother and two remaining cousins died when Carthag was obliterated, leaving him as the only surviving member of their family. He was stationed on the Mithra with Lientenant Drangh and Chief Hanso when it was shot down in Hagga Basin.[1]
Awakening[]
Hix was approached by the Prisoner and told them that the ship's medic was dead that the entirety of the Harvester's Med Bay side had been sheared off. He informed them that he was doing what little he could to treat the wounded and would need their help in order to stabilize them. The Prisoner returned with enough medical equipment to treat them, with Tolverson and Cheng in vital need of treatment. He then tasked them with arming the crew to defend them from attackers, for which they provided improvised Maula pistols. He informed them that the Kirab had entered the wreck and were preparing to attack them from all sides, which he urged them to prevent. They returned and he thanked them for dispatching with the Kirab. He revealed that Drangh had contacted Central Dispatch and the crew were now waiting to be rescued.[1]
