Emperor Mikael I,[1] called Mikael the Builder,[1] was Emperor of the Known Universe (r. 1221–1265 AG), succeeding his father Istaivan I as ruler of the Corrino Imperium.[1]
The Order of Mentats was founded during Mikael's reign, in 1234.[2] Mikael was succeeded in 1265 by his son Saluso V.[1]
