Mesa Ecaz was the daughter of Archduke Armand Ecaz and the sister of Sanya and Ilesa Ecaz.
During the events of Dune: House Harkonnen, after her sister Sanya was kidnapped and executed by Viscount Hundro Moritani along with her uncle, Mesa and her sister Ilesa were considered as future brides for Duke Leto I, an ally of their father, the Archduke of House Ecaz. However, Leto canceled the compromise, due to the many unfortunate events that took place within his household.
According to Glossu Rabban, during the events of Dune: House Corrino, a daughter of Archduke Armand was killed during the bombardment of the Ecazi capital by Grumman Forces. It is possible that Mesa was that daughter.
