"Something in your body language and vibrations sets you apart from anyone else I've seen of late - an interruption in the rhythmic breath of Arrakis."
―Mesa to the Prisoner[src]

Sister Mesa was an adept of the Bene Gesserit.

Biography[]

Awakening[]

Mesa was approached by the Prisoner in Arrakeen. She explained to them that she was in hiding there, where the universe would soon turn. She told them that the city was the safest place on Arrakis, with Sandflies to the west and slavers all around. She advised them to be equiped with weapons and ammunition if they intended to travel to the planet's more dangerous territories. They offered to help her and she tasked them with finding texts regarding ancient prophecies of the Fremen.[1]
