Dune Honored Matre by guchi
Matre Superior was an Honored Matres title used to describe those women in charge of vast armies of the group, and they were only subservient to the Great Honored Matre.
Hellica and Murbella[]
The most prominent Matre Superior was Hellica, who was based on Tleilax, during the advent of the time of Kralizec. Hellica was in direct opposition to Murbella, who had combined the Matres with the Bene Gesserits to form the New Sisterhood. Since Murbella had taken upon herself the title of Great Honored Matre when she had killed the former Matre leader, Logno; Hellica had to keep her sub-ordinate name of Matre Superior.
