Lanov was approached by the Prisoner in Riftwatch. He discussed his enjoyment of Semuta, particularly when the experience was enhanced by Semuta Music. He told them of Maxim Kazmir's excessive use of the drug, stating that he had seen him take a dose strong enough to place a bull in a coma. He stated that they emulated Baron Vladimir Harkonnen in their consumption, for he believed satiation to be the virtue of the weak.[1]
