"The nautical theme and ornamentation celebrates our home world's most famous export, the magnificent and priceless furs of the great Bjondax whale. The bones of which hang suspended above the beer hall as our dramatic centrepiece. This particular specimen was an espescially infamous and fearsome beast known as Krazinok."
Anoushka Hannivar to the Prisoner[src]

Krazinok was a Bjondax whale.

Biography[]

Background[]

Krazinok had an infamous reign of terror on Lankiveil, in which it sank thirty boats. The battle with the beast lasted eight days, during which it killed eleven men. It was finally caught by the young whale-ship captain Ilyich Hannivar, who became a legend as a result. As a reward for his achievement, he was granted a bar by Count Abulurd Rabban, which he named "Hannivar's". Krazinok's skeleton was hung in the beer hall as a dramatic centrepiece and its fur was used to make a cape for Baron Vladimir Harkonnen.[1]

Awakening[]

Anoushka Hannivar told the Prisoner of her father's capture of Krazinok when they visited the bar.[1]
