Justis Clagg was a Color Sergeant in the service of House Atreides. He lost his legs in the Battle of Arrakeen when they were crushed by a falling Ornithopter and was awarded synthetic legs by Duke Leto Atreides, courtesy of Dr. Wellington Yueh and his cybernetics team. He retired from military service and became a bartender in The Salusan Bull.[1]
Awakening[]
Clegg was approached by the Prisoner in The Salusan Bull. He told them of his experience in the Battle of Arrakeen, which lasted 169 hours. He told them of the Harkonnens he killed and his admiration of Duke Leto. They asked him of experiences with bad spice and advised them to go to the upper level and speak with Orilis Io, Morwena Hreg and Ilith Richese.[1]
