Lady Janet Roxbrough-Teg, more commonly known as Janet Roxborugh, was a Reverend Mother of the Bene Gesserit. She was a large-boned woman who appeared cast for the part of grande dame who was loyal to the Sisterhood, though not mindlessly so.
Janet was born into the powerful Roxbrough family on Lernaeus, who were descended from the Fish Speakers. She was paired with Loschy Teg, a minor CHOAM station factor, by the Sisterhood. This match was made as part of the wider Bene Gesserit breeding program. They had two sons, the legendary Supreme Bashar Miles Teg and his brother Sabine Teg.
After their marriage, Lady Janet secretly raised the young Miles Teg in the Bene Gesserit ways, including Voice, before he moved to Lampadas for his official training.
