An Imperial Seat is the capital and seat of government of an empire. The ancient First Empire is traced by historians as having experienced a succession of Imperial Seats, the last of which was Ceres (which served in that capacity 13402–11105 BG).[1]
The Imperial Seat of the Corrino Imperium was initially Salusa Secundus (88 BG–1487 AG), before it was transferred to Kaitain (1487–10196 AG).[2] Under the succeeding Atreides Imperium, the Imperial Seat was transferred to Arrakis (10196–13724 AG).[3]
