Iakin Nefud was the Captain of the House Harkonnen guard. While regarded as decently reliable while on duty, he was a known Semuta addict, which, to some, was enough to cast doubt on all of his abilities. During the Spice War, he was placed in charge of the main corps of Harkonnen soldiers. He used infantry as cannon fodder and consumable resources, a strategy which helped him achieve unparralled military results.[1]
