- "Saying I did anything other than serve my Duke with honor and integrity. It's true, I was removed from service to the Atreides. And it's true that the charges against me were for cowardice. But those who know me know that's impossible. And I have not, nor will I ever dignify the charages with a response. And truth be told, the old Duke Leto - the one before this blasted war changed him - would never have questioned that fact."

Biography[]
Background[]
Gloos Bohannon was a soldier in the service of House Atreides in the War of Assassins. He was removed from their service on charges of cowardice, which he denied, insisting that he only served Duke Leto Atreides with honor and integrity.[1]
Awakening[]
Bohannon was approached by the Prisoner in Pinnacle Station. He told them of how the Fremen were wiped out by the Sardaukar, with every sietch being burned. He suggested that the Fremen may still be out there, but refused to commit to the idea. He then told them that they may find some Fremen in Harko Village, but warned that they would shadows of their kin. He also told them that the goods sold in Harko were lower than those of Traj Axxari. He warned that there had been a greater presence of Sardaukar and CHOAM mercenaries since the Proteus went down, which had been of great interest to Count Hasimir Fenring.[1]
