Gammu Keep was the central base of Bene Gesserit on the planet Gammu. It was here where the gholas of Duncan Idaho were trained and raised. The Keep was heavily guarded with many patrolling soldiers, sisters of the Bene Gesserit and Supreme Bashar Miles Teg’s batman Patrin securing the safety of the base.
Most of the Keep was restricted from the gholas. Guards were strictly probihited to loosen from their duties and let Duncan roam around. Duncan’s had several changing sisters as their personal trainers in the Keep. The last one, Lucilla, took the job shortly before the Keep’s destruction.
The Keep was attacked and destroyed by Honored Matres and Tleilaxu Face Dancers in 15229 AG. Traitorous sister Schwangyu was helping in the attack. Miles Teg managed to flee with Lucilla and the current ghola of Duncan Idaho. Patrin, a loyal companion of Teg’s, sacrificed himself for the enemy forces.

During the reign of God Emperor Leto II, the Keep was used by Fish Speakers. The base was known as a Forest Guard Station.
