An aircraft is a machine that is able to fly by gaining support from the air, or, in general, the atmosphere of a planet.In the Known Universe the most widespread types of aircraft are Ornithopters and Flyers.
In contrast crafts which are supported by Suspensors are known as Drifters or Levitators ("Levs").

- Carryall - Heavy-lift aircraft capable of transporting harvesters and all manner of super-heavy loads (hence their colloquial name).
