Emperor Feyd II[1] (d. 1099) was briefly Emperor of the Known Universe (r. 1099 AG), succeeding his father Estil II as ruler of the Imperium.[1]
Reign[]
Feyd II's family, the House of Feyd,[1] had risen to the throne in 1027 AG under his grandfather, Feyd I, a former Sardaukar Burseg who usurped the imperial throne from House Corrino. Feyd's usurpation was followed by a resistance, in large part led by House Atreides, which grew into Civil War.[2]
Feyd II became emperor in 1099, after the death of his father Estil II. By this time, only a few worlds remained under the control of the Feyd regime, most having been lost to the rebels supporting a restoration of House Corrino. Feyd was murdered by his own officers after ruling for only two weeks. In his place, the Corrino heir Josif I was named emperor,[2] ending the rule of the House of Feyd.[1]
