Biography[]
Under the influence of Kasha Jinjo, Javicco Corrino made a deal with Ferdinand to marry Javicco's daughter, Ynez, and Ferdinand's son, Pruwet, despite Pruwet being only nine years old. As part of the deal, Ferdinand also offered resources to Javicco, resources that Javicco needed.
They planned the wedding and went through with the engagement ceremony. At the party, Pruwet revealed that he had a thinking machine toy, which caused an uproar as the technology was prohibited. Ferdinand defended Pruwet, saying it was just a toy and when Ynez also defended him, Javicco said they could overlook it.[1]
Ferdinand and his family gathered with the Corrinos, except Javicco. Ferdinand was angry that Javicco wasn't there and implied that he would rescind his offer of the fleet of ships. Ferdinand went to Javicco and demanded to see the suspect in Pruwet's killing. Javicco said there wasn't any suspect, so Ferdinand said he'd be taking his fleet back threatened to seize Arrakis.
Ferdinand went to confront Javicco, but Javicco had Desmond use his powers on Desmond, burning his skin until Javicco told him to stop. Then Javicco told Ferdinand to go home, bury his son, and never speak about what had happened.[2]
