Erhi Gan was approached by the Prisoner at her desk in the Imperial Consulate in Harko Village. She answered their questions about paying their taxes, warning them that if they did not pay in the allotted time, they would be remanded to a local debtor's prison until the outstanding balance was settled, which would often equate to the death penalty due to a pox.[1]
