Terra or Earth is the planet of origin of humanity. First civilizations are traced back to 19000 BG.

The First Empire was an era started by Aleksandr in 16500 BG. A millennia-long period that saw humanity's advance.

The Imperial Seat changed many places such as Rome in 16400 BG. The Roman Empire ended in 16000 BG but the First Empire persisted, in Byzantium, then there was a brief interval in the Century Without an Emperor (14700 BG-14608 BG) until discoveries in America allowed Madrid to attain the status of the Imperial Seat.

In 14512 BG at the Battle of Englichannel the Imperial Seat moved to London where humanity saw the Golden Age of Invention (14500 BG-14200 BG).

In 14255 BG first atomics were seen and Washington became the Imperial Seat.

From Terra came the Little Diaspora in 14100 BG, the colonization of the solar system.

In 13402 BG a planetoid strikes Terra. Ceres became the Imperial Seat of humanity. The Rescue of the Treasures makes many relics of human history spread to the Known Universe

In 13360 BG Terra was re-seeded and set aside as a natural park. It was also the location where the OCB was compiled.

By 2800 AG Terra was a Barony. Terrans enjoyed exemption from Imperial draft. Terra's deserts were also populated by Zensunni nomads.

That year, Baron Charles Mikarrol, planetary governor of Terra, sent 2000000 nomads to Poritrin, beginning the Zensunni Migration

Wesle Atreides was a lifelong student of Terran history
