Dune is a forthcoming movie adaptation of Frank Herbert's original novel. It is scheduled for release on December 18, 2020.[1]

The film is directed by Denis Villeneuve, from a script penned by Eric Roth, Denis Villeneuve, and Jon Spaihts, produced by Legendary Entertainment, and distributed by Warner.[2]

Synopsis

A mythic and emotionally charged hero’s journey, "Dune" tells the story of Paul Atreides, a brilliant and gifted young man born into a great destiny beyond his understanding, who must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to ensure the future of his family and his people.
