Dune is a forthcoming movie adaptation of Frank Herbert's original novel. It is being directed by Denis Villeneuve and produced by Legendary Entertainment and releases November 20th 2020 through Warner distribution.[1]

The project is directed by Denis Villeneuve (Arrival, Blade Runner 2049) from a script penned by Eric Roth, Denis Villeneuve, and Jon Spaihts.

Filming began in March 2019.[2]
