Dune is a forthcoming movie adaptation of Frank Herbert's original novel. It is being made by Paramount Studios and is scheduled for release in 2010 (although date this is now in doubt).
The movie is set to be directed by Peter Berg, from a script by newcomer Josh Zetumer. Reports suggest the producers want a "classic interpretation" of Frank Herbert's original novel. No casting has been announced.
