Dune Wiki was created in August 2005 through the Wikia wiki service.
Purpose
Dune Wiki is dedicated to the fictional universe created through Frank Herbert's Dune novels, as well as the Dune novels by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson and adapted Dune works authorized by Frank Herbert or his estate.
Objectives
The main objectives of Dune Wiki are:
- To catalog the entire fictional universe detailed in the various Dune novels;
- To provide a dedicated portal through which Dune and only Dune characters, events and elements are documented;
- To create a wiki that is easy and fun to navigate and read;
