The Dog-beings enter the Mueseum of Man
The Dog-beings were a race that featured in Alejandro Jodorowsky's unsuccessful attempt to adapt Dune. The Dog-like beings were to act as a framing device for the narrative, visiting a 'Mueseum of Man' on Kaitain in the far future. After activating a button on a giant robot being crucified, it was to begin projecting the history of humanity to the Dog-beings, beginning with the destruction of Earth.[1] After completing the story, the robot explodes and the Dog-beings leave mournfully, sad their masters will never return. They return to their vehicle and leave, deciding to search for Humankind and therefore Muad'Dib, the collective consciousness. [2]
