Damiano Fulgencio[1] governed the Corrino Imperium as regent for two weeks in 1680 AG, the sixth and last[1] of the Landsraad-led Regency established after Emperor Henoor III's death without immediate heirs.[2]
The previous regent, Maria I Mustami, was forced to resign as the Imperium experienced significant unrest (secretly stimulated by Iraklii Harkonnen). Fulgencio's brief tenure as regent ended in much the same way.[2] In the interregnum that followed Fulgencio's resignation, the only government that existed on an Imperium-wide basis was a loosely organized committee of Houses Major. This lasted until 1701, when a distant imperial descendant, Corrin IV, was proclaimed emperor.[2]
