Cryo Interactive was a French video game developer active in the late 1980s, throughout the 1990s and in the very early 2000s. They specialised mainly in adventure games (including point-and-click adventure games and adventure games in pre-rendered, panoramic 3D) and action-adventure games. The company filed for bankruptcy and ceased operations in October 2002.
Cryo Interactive developed, published or planned to publish four games inspired by the Dune novel series and its adaptations:
- Dune (1992) - adventure/management hybrid, licensed and published by Virgin Interactive
- Frank Herbert's Dune (video game) (2001) - action-adventure game, tie-in game to the eponymous 2000 TV miniseries
- Dune Generations (2001) - a cancelled MMO strategy set in the Dune universe, some prototypes, videos and screenshots survive
- Frank Herbert's Dune: Ornithopter Assault (2002) - a cancelled combat flight simulation game for Game Boy Advance, a leaked prototype and a late release under the title Elland: The Crystal Wars are available
