Prince Corrin (b. 1022 AG) was a grandson of Emperor Wallach II (r. 933–995).[1]
In 1027, there was a rupture with the Sardaukar forces and the Sardaukar Bashar[1] Feyd-al-Feyd[2] usurped the throne.[1] To cement his claim, all close imperial relations were killed, with Prince Corrin, five years old at the time, being one of the few survivors. Corrin was rescued and taken into exile by Paulos II Atreides.[1] When Feyd's heirs were defeated in 1099, Prince Corrin was made regent of the Imperium, with his son Josif I proclaimed emperor.[1]
